The Vintage Shed... Our favourite shop

I want to share with you a little gem we are hiding out in Tyabb, Victoria. The Vintage Shed is by far our favourite and and most owe inspiring shop we visit. Its an amazing trip out to Tyabb. Only moments from the water, yet feels like a sleepy country town, Tyabb holds some of the most amazing antique/ retro/ vintage collections in Melbourne. The Vintage Shed holds an array of collectables fit for any antique collector, as well as fun retro finds to add a hint of the past into any interior. If you are looking for that one off piece to compleat a room, looking for an entire new style, or are just after some inspiration, The Vintage Shed is so worth the visit. You will love it and visit again and again.

My new haven.... The art room

Its been a few months since moving into my new house. Setting up my 'art room' has been on the back burner while I finish setting up the rest of the house. Unfortunatly the creative juices are drying up, working at the kitchen bench and the coffee table. So the hunt is well and truly on for the 'perfect' desk. My husband and I have been searching through op shops, antique shops, markets, ebay... even asking friends and family for an ugly duckling that will be my swan. So far no luck. Needs to be right to set the mood for my art!So far I have a massive amount of inspiration that is keeping me focused on my goal... THE ART ROOM. These are some things inspiring me.

My Kitchen....

I am obsessed with all things vintage and retro when it comes to decorating my kitchen.... unfortunatly space is always a factor... So im sharing with you my loves so you can still enjoy them.

My whole life I have tried my hand at all types of craft. I can put my hand to sewing, quilting, painting, drawing, paper crafts, and more recently crochet. I am focusing on creating beautiful pieces for babies and children. Stay tuned for my own pics. In the mean time these are a few things that are inspiring me in my recent creations.
